Applied for Epsom Civil Engineering and had the interview 2 weeks ago and thought it was the best one I'd done so far. Got a rejection e-mail a week later to say I'd been kept on a reserve list for other opportunities but I was only interested in civ eng so passed on other applications. The interviewers were really friendly though and it just felt like a normal chat, was nice that they didn't keep me waiting too long as well. They gave me a feedback link but it just said I was good on everything but to build on it further so it wasn't really helpful. Recommend really researching the company as they were impressed on what I knew about the company. I maybe could have mentioned some of their projects more. Also be ready to give lots of examples to show how you overcame challenges and to demonstrate skills you have. Good luck everyone!!

As I said previously, it took a week roughly for me but they said it could be 2 weeks or even longer in busier periods so I guess it depends on how busy the office is and how many applicants they have for the position. In terms of feedback, they send you a link to a website that comments on your Motivational Fit, Curious and Problem Solving, Planning and Working Well with Others. They said I was positive for everything but also gave me some tips for improving further so it was overall useful.

Yep and it stays doesn't move onto offer unless you get the job, the feedback will appear on a button on the interview page.

What was your interview like and how long did your interview last if you don't mind me asking

Applied to project management and did my interview last week Friday. Been exactly a week since my interview and I’m pretty nervous on the outcome haven’t heard anything as of yet.
Post interview is the worst.

The interview lasted an hour and it was mainly me giving scenarios and examples to demonstrate the skills I have. The interviewers were really friendly. I asked plenty of questions about the company and told them why I wanted to work there. They were really interested in my Design Technology coursework as it pretty much goes through the engineering process.

How did you find the scenario questions they asked about like what would you do in the situation ?
