I’m so ugly at school but this boy keeps staring at me

This boy’ he’s just extremely nerdy
But I’m Not interested whatsoever. He has lots of. friends though but I’m always alone and I hate people I have one or two girls but don’t like them

Before I was in year 9, and did hairstyles cute and wore skirts was very girly. I wore braces and glasses

.my dad said I always wore skirts everyday and he wants me to wear trousers and my shoes my girly pumps got ruined and now he bought me some ugly lace shoes too. I wear the regular top part with a shirt and tie and everything and a jumper and blaz r

So this new boy who’s never seen me in my cute girly era with cute hairstyles keeps staring so much at me. My hair was cut short as well so I can’t do cute hairstyles. So now I look like some girl in a boys suit seriously I look awful yuck. If this was year 9 believable I looked ugly but hairstyles and cute short skirt made up for it

I just wear a headband because that’s the only way I can make it somehow girly.
There are so many girls with straight hair curly or stylish girls but he keeps trying to bump into me several times! His friend one time pushed him into me and he said I’m sorry and he smiled and I said it’s fine and I just smiled back.

U don’t understand I’m absolutely hideous seriously. I admit I have potential but now it’s all gone.

Now tell me why this guy keeps staring.

One of my friends who wears trousers but very loose ones herself stopped talking to me when I switched form skirts!
Like nothing she just looked at me up and down and I smiled when I saw her and just avoided me! Seriously! But she wears them herself 😭.

So I was like why does this boy keep constantly trying so hard.

I admit the uniform is making me lose my self confidence but still I mean she’s a girl she should still be friends a guy not being attracted anymore makes sense

What is the actual issue here?

Do you like this boy or not? Was it your choice or your dad's to "go ugly"?

MAYBE, he likes someone who's a bit more modest than the usual girls dressed in the typical "girly" attire, or MAYBE he can see the natural beauty in your face (Even if someone is dressed / presented really badly, you can often still see the prettiness in their face, if they have it). MAYBE he's socially awkward (you described him as "extremely nerdy", after all), and thinks you and he could be friends?

If you don't like this guy, then politely tell him that his staring is making you uncomfortable and you don't like it; chances are he'll avoid staring in future. On the other hand, if he is someone you'd like to get to know better (either as a friend or more), then talk to him a bit and find out more about him (e.g. how he's finding the new school / location).
