Exactly. Wit isn't talking, so this thread is infested with crickets.

If you think this thread is infested with crickets, you should meet the girls at my school.

Hands up who else uses their "witty eloquence" to "win over people in the real world"? Just wondering whether or not I'm the only one.
Not sure. Kind of bumble along with ill-thought out comments that I myself laugh at heartily rather than the intended audience (stupid cat). Though I intend this to be witty I know it's coming out as tosh. How the hell does anyone work being put on the spot like this?

[revelation time]

Hey Profesh, you can't induce wittiness -- it has to come naturally, sorta like :snow::snow::snow::snow:...and no offence to the guys who contributed (I say that but I mean it the utmost offence, boys 'n' girls -- like who doesn't when they say that, huh?), this thread is full of it.

I perhaps should've held back on the insulting till after my first. Hmm... Let's start over! Lovely and nice with sugar and spice to meet y'all!

He means they're infested with crickets.

This group seems to be devoid of wit.

Alas, it is devoid of people, the wit never goes away.

for those looking for some inspiration for their wit, may I suggest twitter.com/serafinowicz?

Why did the chicken cross the road?
Most likely so that it could take itself out of earshot of your listless puns and tired jokes.

That joke places your IQ precariously between that of a mollusc and the average viewing audience of the Jeremy Kyle show.

I believe in the subtle difference of 'having something to say' and 'having to say something' - one which of course, you fail to appreciate.

Evidently you don't believe in the use of wit or correct punctuation though.

Nah, that would waste time. I think that gets the message across just as well

There was a message? I must have missed the point. Though sadly, the society is still a void of wit or anything at all.
