Art Foundation courses

Hi there! I have been accepted to both CGLAS and Kingston Uni art foundations and I was wondering if anyone had any input on which is better when wanting to continue studying at LCF after the foundation. Which would provide a smoother acceptance. I know that Kingston only offers the Pearson foundation whilst CGLAS offers the UAL foundation. If someone could please let me know ASAP it would be very much appreciated!

CGLAS use the UAL awarding body as you've said, so if your priority is getting the absolute smoothest transition into LCF I'd suggest going with that. However the content & structure of the programmes are still similar so if I was in your position I'd go with whichever course/school I like more - consider the advantages of each, e.g. CGLAS provide a designated studio space to each student while Kingston has more expertise in several fields of art & design due to having loads of different higher courses in comparison to the mere 4 which CGLAS has, none of which being fashion
Awarding body isn’t a huge deal for FAD courses. Specialisms, studio facilities and staff you get on with is more important.

Have you visited both places?
Can you afford the fees for CGLAS?
