HELP

Hi guys,

so i got a UUU in my alevels due to certain things happening in my life during that time but managed to get into University of East London for a foundation year which is equivalent to a Level 3, currently passing all my assignments and it looks like i will be passing this year. I would like to transfer into another university but was wondering if it would be possible considering my alevels but as foundation year is a level 3, surely it would be fine?

hi! yes it is possible, you could reach out or email the course officers of which university you want to transfer to, sometimes they ask for a transcript of your first year at uni and check your grades but you can see if they would let you, or you could go through clearing on results day again as another option

Be aware that a Foundation Year is not 'a qualification' - so other Unis cannot be certain that what you have studied is appropriate for entry to their degrees. You will need to email / phone other Unis and ask if they accept any Foundation courses, if they will accept the one you are taking, and if its worth you applying.
