Maths and Physics at Warwick or Manchester

I'm struggling to pick between the two. The grades are easier for Warwick but I think I would prefer living in Manchester. I'm unsure where the career prospects are better. Warwick is better for maths and Manchester is better for Physics. I prefer the no labs at Warwick but the modules at Manchester for Physics seem better. I would also be closer to family at Manchester which is nice, but Warwick is cheaper. AHHHH. Please can anyone help.

I am literally in the exact same position as you for the exact same reasons , I'm not too sure either. It looks like it'd be a more enjoyable time at Manchester for sure and its two different lifestyles at Warwick and Manchester but will the difference in universities actually make a difference after graduation?

It’s the fact that Physics is Manchester’s best department and Maths at Warwick is insane, but the course is run by the Physics department, so idk if the career opportunities are the same for Warwick Maths and Warwick Math and Physics.

Yeah that is true, I know the maths side of it is run by the maths department in Warwick which is another plus. The facilities for Manchester looked better though and when I went to the interview the other week they said you have to spend a term (which is 12 weeks) doing practicals and you said you prefer no labs so thats something to think abt
