Hi @amateur-supporte

Sorry to hear that you aren't getting through the application process. Do you have a careers team at your college? They may be able to look through your CV and give you advice on writing a cover letter. Often with applications to big chains your CV is put through a check by AI first so if it is not formatted clearly it won't pick up the information in your application properly. There may be websites you can use to check it by the systems like the companies use.

I would recommend also looking at local business on Facebook, their websites and other social medias to find vacancies. You could even just reach out to the local businesses and hand out you CV.

Last summer I wrote a big list of all the places that might get busy over summer that I could contact. Some places to consider that are usually looking for summer work are pubs, uniform shops, ice cream shops or any hospitality that surrounds popular summer activities like walking routes, play centres, garden centres.

I hope this is helpful and good luck!
