Toxic shock syndrome
I used a tampon and took it out after 5 hours. It was really dry and I saw that some cotton from the tampon must have come off and stayed in me. Does this put me at risk of toxic shock syndrome? I put my finger it but couldnt feel any cotton but I'm sure some must be in there, albiet a small amount.

you'll be fine, pretty sure this happens now and then to everyone who uses tampons
