Transferring Universities for Photography Course – What Steps to Take?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know what steps I need to take at my current university, as I am planning to transfer to another university. Specifically, I want to move from the University of East London to Canterbury Christ Church University while staying in the same course (Photography).

What steps should I follow at my current university, and what should I consider when transferring to the new university? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

See "How do I transfer my studies from another academic institution?", here, on Canterbury Christ Church University's web site.

Also see section 2.2, Student Initiated Course Withdrawal, in University of East London's Student Initiated Break, Transfer and Withdrawal Policy document, here.

Essentially, you apply to CCCU through UCAS, including details of your time at UEL in the Education section, and specifying the appropriate start year (Year 2, presumably). Then, if you receive and accept an offer, you withdraw from UEL.
