Should I take a gap year

Where do I start? So am currently in yr 13 doing bio chem and psychology and predicted A*A*A but I think I’ll get A*AA/AAA I was initially going to medicine but couldn’t since due to unfortunate circumstances didn’t have time to do revise the UCAT therefore I didn’t do it which I regret.I now got a place in UOM for pharmacy but am starting to rethink if I should do this years UCAT after my a levels and apply for medicine. Do I even have a high chance. Because I feel like AAA/A*AA isn’t even good enough for UOM even though I can get contextual offers of AAB since I have WP status. Can someone give me realistic advice on what should I do?

Edit I’ll decide whether or not if I should take a gap year on results day depending on my results would I just cancel my offer for pharm on ucas? Also should I do the MAP for medicine strand because I did do MAP for general strand even though I don’t need reduced offers I still would like to use their decision Manchester.

Take a gap year - UOM requires AAA. If you meet that, you do not need higher.

Well if you take the gap and do well on the UCAT and have ur AAA, congrats, you got a chill year and medicine.

Gap year but either the grades don't make it or UCAT doesn't make it, you still got to have an entire year gap and can still likely do pharmacy.

Of course, this would require you to be successfully acquiring an offer from UOM next year. If you apply for medicine and pharmacy, I'm sure you'll at least get pharm. But that is the risk you run. I have no doubts you have the academic abilities, just squeeze in some more extracurricular or work experience stuffs to double triple make sure your personal statement is golden - assuming it isn't already.
Best of luck!
