College / Apprenticeship

Hi,
After some advice. I work for a company and we are looking to offer an apprenticeship. We recently attended college careers day, we found someone who would be great for this role. However he is only in hist first year, would he be able to leave this college course in June and start an apprenticeship with us in September?

He should be able to, as in there aren’t any rules in place stipulating that he can’t. If there are any problems it would be on the company’s side. That being said, if the company is fine with him not finishing the course then it should be okay. Oh and he of course has to be willing to leave his college course prematurely.
