Which offer should i accept for business?

Hello, I have received an unconditional for international business at Strathclyde and a conditional for Glasgow University which I am on track to meet (A/B) for Business and Management. Does anyone have any advice on which one should I pick?

What are your criteria? What's important to you in a university, or in an International Business / Business Management course?

One option would be to make Glasgow your firm and Strathclyde your insurance. As Strathclyde is unconditional, you're guaranteed to have your place there confirmed if your miss Glasgow's requirements (and they don't confirm your place as a "near miss" candidate).

Or do you have somewhere else in mind for your insurance?

Hi there,

Congrats on your offers from those two really good business unis! Definitely agree with the above - the most important factor to consider is the course content and which you feel you'd be more interested in studying. Ask yourself which modules you'd take if you went to each, whether any of them sound like they inspire you or might help you on track to any future career ideas you have.

Have you also visited the cities? Does one in particular stand out as somewhere you'd rather be and feel more at home? What about the campuses? Have you got plans to go to their offer holder days? These are a great way to get to know the uni and the course a bit more.

I hope some of this helps, best of luck with your choices!

Hi @rossl122

It's excellent to see you have received offers!

Here are some factors you may wish to consider when making your decision:
1) Pressure - This is entirely dependent on how confident you are for your exams. Choosing an unconditional can relive some of the exam stress, as you know your place is confirmed and you can begin preparing for university early, choosing accommodation and more. However, if your confident in your results and prefer the other university, then that's a great option too!
2) Distance - Would you prefer to be closer to home or further?
3) Modules - Are there different modules taught on the course, if so which course is aligned more closely with your interests.
4) Cost of living - If affordability is important to you, I recommend comparing the prices of accommodations in the each area.
5) Personal Preference - You need to make sure where you end up is the best option for your happiness. Your enjoyment of university life often impacts motivation, studying and therefore results. So make sure you pick where your most passionate to go!

Goodluck with your decision, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia (Business and Management)
