How would I email a professional - EPQ primary research

For my EPQ I have to do some primary research (well, I don't have to, but I'm choosing to) and I have a few experts I'd like to reach out to. These are people with degrees, doctorates, etc. I know reaching out to adults as a teen is kind of awkward, but I was wondering if there's some sort of specific structure to follow, like unspoken rules and such? I'd just like to ask them a few questions over email, almost like an interview but simply over email.

I'd do something along the lines of this:

Dear Mr/Ms/Miss/Sir/Mrs/Dr,

My name is _ and I attend [insert school/college] in _ (you could say your town/city, or just the region). (You could add more information about yourself here, such as your age, the subjects you take, and what you would like to do after school, but I wouldn't say this is necessary).

I am emailing you today due to your expertise in _ (be as specific as possible), which is relevant to my EPQ on [explain epq].

I am wondering if you would be able to answer some questions on _/ share your research on _, which I could use in my EPQ.

Yours sincerely,
_
