Hi there!

Lovely to hear that you're keen on firming Bath - its a great choice and we're super-proud of our business school and all the amazing placements our students go on from all courses 🙂 - I'm sure you'll have a fantastic experience if you choose us!

I would say that Southampton is more similar to Bath than Bristol is, because Bristol is a lot bigger and a lot older than both. I would say that both are very good unis and so whichever you choose I'm confident you'll have a great academic experience at. I would firstly look into which of their courses you're more keen on and which has modules you think you'd be more interested in. This is the most important factor to look at because your insurance has to be somewhere you'd also really happily go, just in case 🙂

Its also about deciding what kind of place you want to be living - Southampton's campus is a lot more rural than Bristol's, which is right in the city centre, so it depends whether you are more of a coastal town person or city person!

I would say that if you choose Bath, then Bristol is only a half hour bus ride away, so if you like Bristol as a city you can still visit it easily from Bath.

Really hope this helps! Please give us a shout if you have any questions and wishing the best of luck this year!

Hey there 😃

Huge congratulations on your offers! 🎉

Have you had a chance to attend Open Days yet? If not, I’d highly recommend it! Seeing the universities in person can make a huge difference in your decision. It’s the perfect opportunity to assess everything from the quality of education to the student experience firsthand.

In the meantime, take a moment to reflect on what truly matters to you in your university journey. Beyond academics, there are many factors that shape your overall experience. For me, career development was a priority, so I chose a university with strong career support services. For you, it might be social life, the city vibe, extracurricular activities, or something else entirely.

It’s worth exploring how Southampton and Bristol align with your personal preferences. Make sure to gather as much information as possible to see which one feels like the best fit for you 🌟

I hope it will be helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,
