Hello @rbatalha
The reading lists tend to be quite specific to the modules you study, so will vary university to university. However, during my first year studying Earth and Environmental science i found the textbook 'Understanding Earth' really helpful in explaining lots of the key topics in water, atmospheric science and volcanology ect. However, it was slightly more focused on physical geography, but if its available at your university library I would recommend it.
Hope this helps!

Good afternoon,

I am currently studying Ecology. However, I do quite a few environmental science modules. I will list some of the recommended books below. However, each university is different and will have various reading lists. I will put the generic reading list of books below.

Ecological climatology: concepts and applications by Gordon B. Bonan

Environmental change by Rosemary Charles

Environmental archaeology: theoretical and practical approaches by Nick Branch

Wilding: The Return of Nature to a British Farm by Isabella Tree

Rewilding :The Radical New Science of Ecological Recovery by Paul Jepson

Mycorrhizal Planet by Michael Phillips

These are just a few good books I have been recommended, and they are a great read. If you have any more questions, please let us know.

Alternvily you could email the module convenor for the BSc Environmental Science, or Department of Geography and Environmental Science.

All the best,
Ella
