Urgent vectors question

Hello all
I really really need help with solving the hardest grade 9 vectors questions
Does anyone have a method which will deliver a guaranteed answer every time to any vectors question for GCSE maths (specifically Edexcel but I don't think it really matters)
The ones I have watched on the internet all seem to take a different approach so I would like one that works for every question. Thank you

You must have come across a/some particular question(s)? If so, care to post one or two?

The ones in this video mainly:

There are some which I didn't know how to do when I last attempted them. The teacher seems to follow a different method for every question so I would like one effective strategy that I can try to apply for them all and hope to reach the right answer

For the first one, you want to find k, so that means you need a single equation involving k and solve for it. The obvious way to progress is to get OD as you can go two different ways, so
1) Along the base (using k:1 or 1:1/k ratio) OD = (1+1/k)c
2) Through x (as per video) OD = 3 1/2 c
So k = 2/5
Personally I think the video overcomplicates the determining k, but its just how you reason about the ratio. Note you could have formed a similar equation for XD and the "c" componemt gives k=2/5 in a similar fashion.

The setting up a single equation to determine an unknown, where you go two different ways is fairly common. But why not pick any of the questions and say what you tried/unsure about.

I recently learnt how to compare coefficients using corbettmaths (which I wasn’t previously taught before) and then I attempted the questions using comparing coefficients (there is some other really confusing method, but once I learnt how to compare coefficients the steps to solve the q instantly clicked…)
If this doesn’t help please ask me as I was in a very similar position to you and I managed to crack the method and don’t mind helping you, especially because most schools don’t teach these questions as they think they are just too hard…

I think I might be understanding it now. It can just be a bit hard on some of the questions. Does anyone have a list of the hardest grade 9 questions? I have already done:
-All of the last questions (after 17) from past papers
-All of the aiming for grade 9 papers
-All of the first few videos and websites that come up when you type in 'gcse maths hardest ever past questions'

Unfortunately I don’t have any… but if you find some I would be extremely grateful if you could share them on here….
