Nottingham Trent or Hartpury for Vet Nursing Degree.

Hi, ive been accepted at both of these and I'm really struggling to choose which one to choose as my firm choice. any advice? which would be a better choice please?
Hi @frgrtgrtgbtrbrbr,

It's great to hear you're considering Veterinary Nursing at NTU!

There's a lot to consider when making your firm and insurance choices, but rest assured you still have plenty of time to make your decision. If you've received all of your replies, you'll have until the 5th of June, and one of the best things you can do with that time is visit any upcoming open days. These can be a great opportunity to get a feel for the Universities you're deciding between and speak to current staff and students.

At NTU, our Brackenhurst Campus is a fantastic place to study Vet Nursing; As a working farm and a wildlife haven, our Brackenhurst countryside estate is fully equipped with outstanding facilities, and the City Centre is only a bus ride away for almost anything you need.

If you have any questions that may help you make your decision, feel free to let us know, we're happy to help!

Hi
Hartpury is a top university but Nottingham Trent is also good ( only know this from people who I have spoken to on here).

What is more important is that you chose your best option for what university you want to study veterinary nursing at . Have you got a preference on what one you want to go to for veterinary nursing. Make a list of Dos and Donts for each one and see what you come up with. Maybe 🤔 🤔 if you can't make a decision then perhaps attend any open days they have to see if it helps you. Do you want to be close to city centre for nights out etc as if so I believe Nottingham Trent is better.

Like what the person said in reply 1 to you is that you have time still to make your decision on where you want to go to.

I trained as a veterinary nurse as qualified after four hard years work in summer 2020 but I haven't went into a veterinary nursing job as I chosen to go straight back to university to study adult nursing as I have always wanted to do that, I qualified as a nurse in summer 2023 and I am working on a specialist area that I am thoroughly enjoying upto now.

Anyway good luck with your decision on what university you go to and hope you enjoy your journey in becoming a veterinary nurse.
