Is she a controlling, bully, toxic mom?!

Earlier today and also other days before, my mom has been telling me that I can’t stay in the house all day, needed to find sum activity to do, she even forced to call me sum mental health programs, something that she never used to tell me before in our house, why she has became like that, is she a controlling, bully, toxic mom?!

She's not a bully, she's not toxic and she's not controlling. She is your mother and she is concerned for you. Instead of trying to find people to help your blame her for you anger, be grateful that your mother cares about you, there's a lot of people who would kill for a mother like that. If you are in your room all day, she is worried because she thinks you are isolating from the world because you feel depressed, she wants you to find the goodness in life, which is found far easier outside your room. I know what it feels like to just want to stay in one safe spot forever, I'm autistic, it's all I feel some days. But you need to get out, it is PROVEN to help people.

If you find that she's making you seek mental health treatment, then she is seriously concerned for you, and you should thank her. Find a way to show that you are grateful, first way to do that is by listening to what she is saying and go outside. Not just once, not just twice, but regularly enough that you experience more of life. Go for a walk, a bike ride, or if you want to go crazy, learn to fly a helicopter upside down.

Few get such caring mothers, show her the same love she shows you. Hope this helps :smile:
