Fully enrolled-Student finance 1st payment

Hi, I completed my University enrolment online and I’ve received an email from the University confirming that I am now fully enrolled and that the university will now notify the Student Finance Company to let them know that I have completed my enrolment.
How long after the University notify the Student Finance Company that I am now fully enrolled, will I receive my Student Finance maintenance loan 1st payment?

Your enrolment is a different process to your 'registration'. When you enrol that doesn't confirm your payments being released that just confirms your place at university. The university needs to release your payments by sending us 'confirmation of registration' which they do around the first day of your term. Once we receive this it takes 1-3 working days to update and you're paid up to 3 working days. Your payment will change to 'payment in progress' via your account once this has been submitted to your bank. If you speak to the university to ensure they've sent this over.

I would suggest speaking to your university and asking if they have confirmed your registration to SFE. Once we receive this it takes 1-3 working days to update and then you're paid 3 working days later. Your payment will change to 'payment in progress' via your account once this has been submitted to your bank
