I've also applied to biomed (as a back up) so I was given the link for the offer holder day ages ago. You should get the email with the link within this week. The dates are the 29th of March and the 12th of April (either 9am or 2pm I think). But yes there is offer holder days. Have you decided which one your firming?

Hi, I received an offer from Sheffield last week and was delighted because I really liked the Medical School when I looked round. I am a second year Biology student who realized I should have applied for medicine in the first place. My Biology course is 4 years finishing in 2027. However on Ucas my offer states conditional upon attaining a 2:1 in my Biology degree? My A 'Level grades are A*AAA including Biology, Chemistry and Maths, UCAT over 3000. I am really confused because I have applied for 2025 intake assuming I would not complete the Biology degree. Am I being offered a deferred place or is there a mistake? I have emailed and am waiting for a reply. I just thought I would ask the question on this site to see if anyone else had experience of a situation like mine?

Yes we went yesterday too - so lovely to see Sheffield in the sunshine.
Had a really good vibe.Think son will firm there also. Exciting times!

Hi, i have a confirmed offer to start medicine in september, i was just wondering when will information about completing a DBS and occupational health form be sent to me. I am just worried that i will miss something aha x

They aren't usually immediate! I'm nearly in 4th year, I don't want to tell you when I got it, as it has probably changed since my time! Keep an eye on your email, these forums etc, and if you are worried about anything, send the uni an email to confirm!
