What is an Offer Holder Day? ✨
An offer holder day is a great chance to visit the campus of your chosen university, learn more about your course, meet fellow offer holders, and speak to academics. Unlike an open day, the day is specialized towards an individual course. This event is optional but a very good opportunity to consider.
What Happens on the Day? ✨
An offer holder day typically lasts all day, but this may vary depending on different universities. Here at the University of Central Lancashire the day will begin with a welcome talk covering more information about the university, our location, and more information about what the university can offer for students. From there sessions will break out into subject groups and academics will dive deeper into each subject and what will be studied across the duration of a course.
My Offer Holder Day Experience ✨
Personally, it was my offer holder day which helped me decide where I wanted to be. The welcoming atmosphere helped me settle in straight away and I really appreciated the opportunity to ask questions about how my course could benefit my future. Being able to speak to current students was a great opportunity to learn more about student life and what could be done outside of studies. Visiting the stands from services across the university was the perfect way to learn about all the ways my university looked out for us.
