Advice on University

So I’m currently studying Btec Level 3 Applied Science, but for university I want to study in Dublin, which I’m already well researched on doesn’t accept BTec and I would have to study an access or foundation??? See that last part I’m confused on, I’ve contacted them but they haven’t been that much help.

It's a different country, and BTECs , although very worthy, presumably don't translate to the Irish system because if they did the CAO would have a converter that you would have used. You do also need qualifications for access/ foundation courses.

Why you want to study a course in Dublin?
Most courses are a year longer than the UK anyway, because Irish students do 6+ subjects across Leaving Cert which is more like IB/ AS. There are no tuition student loans (not sure about maintenance) unless you are from NI, and if not you will also need to fully self-fund. Hopefully already know this as it would be a deal-breaker for a lot of people.
