A levels and uni applications

I went to sixth form back in 2018/2019 and i completed my first year of AS and got D/C's so i dropped out before completing my second year. Now that i'm older i went back to education to study an access to HE course to get in to university. Im just wondering would my year 1 a level grades effect my application?

If your in England no impact at all for AS grades but they do form your ucas a level Predicted grade probably why your school use it.

They don’t form nothing for a levels only if you r from wales

Thanks for getting back! I did sit it in wales but didn’t complete my second year didn’t actually get my full a levels. Should I mention this even if it was 7 years ago, I don’t have a certificate or anything to prove my grades

You must state everything in ucas even failed grades anything this is ucas policy and this will lead to ‘fraud’.

Now I am from England but I do know wales do take account AS levels so they do form your a levels which is important. You got a D or a C so why not contact that exam board to get a certificate or worst case scenario the uni require more updated version .
