Exeter's web page for BSc Business and Management is here. What is it about this course, or about University of Exeter generally, which particularly appeals to you?

Hi @MaxOA.08,

It's great to see you want to do business management! I'd love to share some information on how to choose the right university for you, while also giving some insight into UCLans Business school (I'm also a business and management student!)

How to choose the right university for you
Modules - Look at the business management courses on various university websites that your interested in. You will see across the course, which modules and optional modules are offered. I recommend choosing options that are more closely tailored to your interests.
Placement year - Some universities provide the option to do a placement year in-between second and third year. If your interested in taking a year to gain experience with the possibility to go abroad, built connections and create opportunities for the future, then this is an important factor!
Distance -If distance from home is important to you, I recommend comparing each universities distance. Also remember, there are many ways to travel from university to visit home, often trains, coaches and more!
Campus Type - Campus universities keep everything in one area, while city universities may have buildings spread across the local city.
Open days - Try to attend open days for universities you are interested in. This is an excellent chance to get the know the campus, ask current students and lecturers questions alongside getting the idea of what your everyday life may look like!

Our Business and Management course
Personally, I'm loving my time studying Business and Management at my university. The structure of the course ensures you full understand the foundational knowledge of business management before introducing more complicated concepts. Additionally it's very easy to get feedback and advice on your work, alongside any other additional questions about business. Also in 2023, the Business and Management courses were ranked first in the north west for teaching quality.

Finally, if you have entrepreneurial goals, there is an abundance of support. Personally when setting up my business, it went from an idea to an actual business through the help of the university because of their advice and funding.

Overall, make sure the university you choose you feel passionate about, as you will be spending a lot of time on campus!

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
-Sophia (Business and Management)

Hey @MaxOA.08 !!

If you are looking for a Business Management course, I think that you should definitely look into applying at Northeastern University London! Our university is in St. Katherine's Docks by Tower Bridge, and we have a new building opening next Fall in the City of London (a 15 min walk). We are an American university that has a main campus in Boston, and we offer dual degree programs where you can get a BSc (Hons) Business diploma in three years and a US Degree in Business Administration that you can complete at the Boston campus in your fourth year. We offer a ton of Experiential Learning opportunities on campus, and we have a team of staff that specialize in getting internship opportunities for students at the university only.

We offer a ton of other diplomas and we offer pathways, so you can study your degree and complete a specialty in any subject we offer. If you check out our website, they go into more detail on the programs we offer, student life, accommodation, work opportunities, and more. On UCAS, we have Student Ambassadors that you can message questions to through Unibuddy. You can also contact the university if you would like to book a tour, we also offer tours for walk ins throughout the week! My biggest advice is to make sure that you pick a university that you'll enjoy and be happy in, so I would highly recommend checking the university out! Good luck!
