National highways placement

I have recently received confirmation about being offered a placement at National highways for the year 25/26.

I also wanted to ask if anyone else here is starting a placement with National Highways and is looking for accommodation. It would be great to connect with other interns who might be interested in sharing a place.

My main advice would be to really understand National Highways’ role and the kind of projects they work on, as that can help tailor your application. When filling out the application, make sure to highlight any relevant engineering or project experience, even from university projects or extracurriculars.
For the interview/assessment stage, they’re looking for problem-solving skills, teamwork, and an understanding of safety and sustainability in transport infrastructure. It’s also worth looking into their core values and mentioning how your skills align with them.
