Level 2 pre access course presentation nerves help!

So, my level 2 pre access teacher has informed us that we have to do a 10 minute oral presentation and it has filled me with anxiety to the point where I feel like I have nowhere to turn. I did a GCSE English presentation two months ago and suffered a mild panic attack, but fought through it. I'm still suffering PTSD because of it. I really need help in this regard. How can I confidently get through this without drawing a blank and not display signs of nervousness? I can't back out as I will lose credits and will likely fail the course. 🫣😩🥶

Firstly, remember that no one wants you to fail—your teacher wants you to succeed! Take 2-3 deep breaths before you start; this helps your body relax and exit "fight or flight" mode.
Secondly, practice is key:

Write out everything you want to say and ensure your delivery fits within 10 minutes at a comfortable pace—don’t rush.

Run through your presentation 5-6 times until you can recite it without looking at your notes. Use your slides as prompts, and if they aren’t effective, adjust them.

Record yourself presenting and refine your delivery based on what you observe.

Practice in front of friends and family for additional feedback.
