Accepting PGCE offer

I’ve currently gotten an offer from a uni to do a PGCE and the deadline for responding is the 27th but I have two more interviews (PGCE from a different uni and one from the same just a different discipline) on the 15th and 27th. I don’t know what happens if I accept the first offer - will I still be able to do the interviews and switch if I get another offer or is that not possible?

Hi, no. Once you accept the offer you have, any pending interviews/offers are terminated. The best thing I think you could do is ask to see if you are able to change the interview on the 27th to one earlier than that.
Hope this helps

I would contact the provider of the offer you received and explain your situation. I wouldn’t try to change the interview dates with other providers. I’d be surprised if the uni doesn’t understand and agree to extend the deadline for you, given that you have more interviews lined up. You don’t need to go into detail as to who the interviews are with, just give dates. You should be allowed to attend all interviews before making your final decision. It’s important that you consider all options carefully and you should not feel rushed.

Trying to change an interview date after committing to it can make you seem less reliable or serious about the provider.
