Am I Odd

I work on a very small team—fewer than five people, including myself.

Most of the time, my colleagues talk about fancy restaurants, plays, and social events they’ve been to. They’re extroverts, while I’m more of an introvert.

About 75% of our conversations are about their social lives outside of work, and only about 25% focus on actual work.

I get really anxious whenever they ask, “How were your evenings?” or “How was your weekend?” I tend to enjoy quieter, more relaxing activities because of an injury I had several years ago. I would be mentally and physically exhausted and I won't be able to do my job.

Sometimes, I feel like the odd one out because I’m not as outgoing or socially ambitious as they are. I can’t help but wonder if they see me as dull just because I don’t have the same kind of stories or gossip to share.

Any advice

Well, not particularly good advice, but you could always lie.
You're not odd in any way - just tell them you don't do much. Honesty is always the best policy.
Even if they see you as dull, it shouldn't matter. Sometimes too much craziness sucks.
No, being introverted is not odd. Odd would be significantly out of the ordinary. Somewhere between 25-40% of people are introverted. That's a lot of people - far too many to class it as out of the ordinary.
