How do I revise Macbeth

I do AQA GCSE Macbeth and I'm in Yr 11

The way that I've revised Macbeth is just copy and pasting SaveMyExams Macbeth quotations into flashcards on Anki and using them. I've done all of SaveMyExams Macbeth key quotations but I haven't done the character quotations, themes nor key themes. I can't decide if what I've done is already enough or not because I've looked at every single past Macbeth question and it's always either Macbeth or Lady Macbeth so I'm getting the feeling that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are the only characters I need to revise. Even practice and predicted questions, about 80% of the ones I've seen are Macbeth of Lady Macbeth, and the theme questions I can just use Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.

I did eduqas but I baso just revised key quotations from each scene (like normally around 4-5 per scene). I used to write them out onto flash cards and then from memory blurt as many as i could onto a piece of paper. I mostly used to prioritise learning quotes bc for me coming up with ideas and tailoring it on the spot was easier if i could remember any quote. I would also recommend doing character mindmaps and their main quotes and themes they link to.

Here’s a thread I made. I got a 9 in AQA GCSE English lit and really did not enjoy it and felt very similar to you. I’ve put some bits of advice on there and I hope that helps!

Thank you. But when you are writing 2 interpretations for a quote, isn't that just analysis and writer's intention? The way that I've revised Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, and the Power & Conflict Poems is just flashcards. I put a quote on the front of the card and then some analysis and intention on the back. But I haven't finished my P&C flashcards and I'm still unsure if I've done enough cuz I used SaveMyExams key quotations, and none of the character quotations nor anything on themes
