English literature and language gcse aqa

Guys pleased give me tips on English language and literature. I'm literally shaking in my boots and procrastinating because of that subject english is a facade and not real but it still determines my future. I actually feel like I should accept my fate and get low grades but I wanna make my family happy especially my mummy.

In English lit and lang I really want 8/8 or higher. Those are my predicted aswell. In the mocks I got 5/5 thought it's not bad but it's much better cause I cheekily failed in yr 10 mocks. 😋😋

Please give me tips on analysis remembering quotes, planning essays, writing essays, the structure for essays and so on. I need everything. I really wanna go to lae in Stratford so I need really good grades. It's just English that's holding me back. I beg please give me tips. Also on how to get detailed analysis. The books I do in English lit is macbeth, an inspector calls, a Christmas Carol and Power and conflict poetry. Please give me tips.

Hey,

Mainly I do the following:
Use Anki for quotes
Read through PMT character profiles, themes, etc and make rough notes
Write everything I know on a whiteboard, take a photo and carry on doing it

Also don't focus on every single poem, know a few which all pretty much cover all themes. I've chosen my 4 easiest. Practice annotating and analysing random texts... always try to find another meaning behind the quote, no matter what it is. It'll give your answer personality

I went for:
Ozymandias
Remains
The Prelude
Kamikaze

I learnt bits of others too like London, etc but mainly focused on those two
Really its personal preference, I know a lot of people who did different

I use knowunity and use my own booklet for annotations. I also look up the main themes and quotes in each text and research them thoroughly for Lit. For lang, I revise language structures, analyse the questions and make sentence structures that fit for each question. As a grade 9 year 11 English student, this worked out well for me so if you want more tips in English, I can help!
