Imperial UCAT cutoff

I have heard that the UCAT cut off for Imperial this year was 3020, does this mean anyone with a higher UCAT score who also meet the minimum requirements are shortlisted for an interview?

Yes they tend to do this as they have minimum for GCSEs and a levels. What is your a levels and GCSEs and what unis did u apply to for med?

I am in Y12 so no UCAT score yet. 7 9s 1 8 and 3 7s at GCSE and 3 A* predicted

Hey, I have lower gcses, same predicted and had a ucat literally on the dot of the cuttoff so I'd say you're on the right track seeing as I got an offer. Just work hard for ur UCAT, spend a few weeks going thru what the questions are like, then a few doing timed practice and then do a lott of mocks (i used medify) and actually look at what you got wrong, why you got them wrong and how to improve. if u need any more adivce lmk, I'll try to check tsr semi-regularly 🙈

What was ur gcse and a level grades ? I believe the ucat threshold for non contextual home students was like 3010 and what unis did u strategically apply to given low GCSEs?

9988877765 for GCSE (The 5 was in drama.) For gcses you just need the minimum entry requirements that they state for imperial. (Other unis may consider your gcses more).

3 A* Predicted in Bio chem maths - If you don't do these subjects double check the entry reqirements because some might have specifics like the third has to be maths or that you have to get a certain grade in bio or chem for your a levels

3020 Ucat score w/ Band 2 for sjt

[https://www.theukcatpeople.co.uk/medical-schools/ucat/how-universities-use-the-ucat.] This website has a list of pretty much all the med schools and what they use to consider/ rank people for interviews - if you scroll down, they're all in alphabetical order.

I applied to UCL, Imperial, Barts and Brighton and Sussex(Bsms)
- UCL and Imperial just rank by ucat,
-Barts weighs predicted grades and ucat equally
-BSMS just have lower entry requirements in general (both grades and ucat)

I'm in year 13 so haven't done A levels yet but I got offers from all of them except UCL (Did an interview, waiting for an offer)

i’ve seen people who’ve got on offer with 2920 (non contextual) so i’m not sure about that cut off

Hi, this was the score given on the imperial website back in December. I can't seem to find it again so they may have taken it down because they decided to also consider lower scores, not too sure since it's the first year they've used it

Remember scoring will be different next year as UCAT are removing the abstract reasoning element.

Which uni are you picking?

Which uni are you picking?

Probably imperial firm and brighton as insurance - brighton because of entry requirements and imperial just because I leaned more towards imperial after applying, I know people there and I rlly like the uni (and my mum rlly likes it so thats a plus). Also my own reaction to getting imperial vs my reaction to getting ucl offers made it pretty clear to me which one I cared about more (also i thought i thoroughly messed up the first two stations of the live interview and did the 2nd half of it just for the sake of finishing it so I'll take it as a sign that they still want me/jk)

2920 for non contextual is unheard of unfortunately for Imperial. Int'l students yes, home students simply no.
