Gonna start a modern languages and cultures undergrad at sheffield in Sep 2025

anyone have any ideas of anything that would be good to read/watch to get me in the mindset as I have been out of education for a couple years and kind of want to kickstart my academic brain :smile:

Also if anyone else is gonna be doing Spanish and Latin American studies then hmu !

Hey! I hope you find some people to connect with on here!
If you've been out of education for a while, I'd say the best thing to do is to pick a project you are interested in that is still relevant. Make it hard, but also in a topic you really like so you will actually want to do it. For example, pick an essay title that interests you write a short essay in that area. Or maybe watch a film in Spanish and then set a word count to write about it or create a video/audio of you talking about it.
