should i choose kingston or westminster for fashion Ba course

i want to go into the luxury sector after graduation and both universities i’ve heard are good for it. kingston is 2nd in the UK for fashion but it seemed to be more veering towards being industry ready and getting employed rather than developing your personal voice and your own design philosophy. no lie i don’t want to work at zara or h&m and kingston seems like it would try and encourage me in that direction.i went to the kingston offer holder day and everything and they made it seem that way, i wasn’t very impressed by their student work whereas with westminster when i went for my interview i was. i know some ba westminster graduates get to showcase at LFW. and that appeals to me and im veering towards choosing westminster because it seems like it would be better if you wanted to work for high end brands/ establish your own brand. i’m just wondering tho which one should I choose?

Hi,

It's great to hear that you came to an offer holder day! It sounds like you are already on your way to making a decision. I don't personally study fashion design here at Kingston but just thought I would let you know if you know if you have any questions, I might be able to answer to help you make your decision.

I will also leave a link to a few previous blogs I have doe that make be useful.
