MSc Language Pathology 2025 - Newcastle University

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone has also recently received an offer to study MSc Language Pathology at Newcastle University starting this autumn 2025? It would be nice to connect with people prior to September

Hey! I haven’t started yet  the course starts in September! But I went to Newcastle Uni for my undergrad degree and I had the best time. The city is amazing - I’d definitely recommend it! 😊

Thank you so much! How was the teaching?? How good is it for international students? Is the cost of living fair? Did u do the same minor??? If yes, how were the placements?

Don’t worry about it!

I did Linguistics for my undergrad so a bit different from the Master’s. They also come under different schools within the uni. I thought the teaching on the degree was really good and the lecturers were all super supportive and informative. The only negative impact on the learning experience was missing out due to strikes, but this was relatively minimal throughout the degree.
I’m not totally clued up on the international student experience but I knew a few students from Spain, Greece, and Latin America who also had a good time. There are a number of societies for international students which I’ve heard are really fun and popular .
I think the cost of living in Newcastle is really fair, especially in comparison to other uni cities in the UK. However, as with everything in recent years, things have got more expensive across the board. Hope this helps!!
