Foundation year student loans

Hiii, does anyone know if when applying for student finance, when selecting your course start year do you put down first year if there is no foundation year option? I’m applying for student loan for Glasgow university and when doing the application it doesn’t have a foundation year to apply. (I applied through UCAS for the course so I know it exists and must be there)

Thank you for any help

Hi there, can you please confirm the exact course title? Is this a Full Time or Part Time course? How many years is the course in total? When are you planning to start your studies? Thank you, Stephen.

It’s sociology (L300) and it’s a full time course, the foundation year is 1 year extra with the 4 years of normal study (starting first year) and I plan to start this September after a levels

Hi there, the University of Glasgow are only offering the 4 year course (FT) L300. So for this 4 year course, it would be year 1 you would select. However, if there is any additional studies required to be completed to gain access to this course, then that will be a separate course from this one. Thanks, Stephen.
