Hey, :hi:

It is important to note that our Adult Nursing course is full-time and although you will not be in the classroom everyday you will have plenty of learning to occupy the whole week. You will normally be in university 3-4 days per week.

You will receive your timetable just before you start the course. Therefore, it is important to plan ahead and take it as this course will be full-time.

Over the three years of the course, you will be undertaking 2300 hours of theoretical learning (including directed and self-directed study) and 2300 hours of practice (which includes 600 hours of simulated practice learning)

Whilst on placement you will be working 37.5 hours per week and will experience the full range of shifts, including earlies, lates, nights and weekends. You will be supported throughout placement and on the course.

Nursing students also receive a £5,000 grant per academic year that you do not need to pay back. This is to support you throughout the course. Find out more here: https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-learning-support-fund-lsf

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any further questions.
