Bath vs warwick uni for physics and maths joint honors

I have recently recieved all offers from Bristol, Bath, Warwick, Lancaster and Nottingham for a physics and maths joint honors masters degree(predicted A*A*A).Most of these choices are very similar rankings for both maths and physics courses however I dont know which of these too choice as my firm and insurance my firm is probably between warwick and bath however i dont know which uni would be better overall e.g employability , nightlife, the university in general , future career prospects. since they have a similar / the same overall ranking. Any reccomendations?? I have visited all of the unis already.
Hi there Cayenne (love the username, very unique!)

Its great to hear you've received decisions from all those great unis, congrats for that!

In terms of campus size and general vibe Bath and Warwick are quite similar; small-ish, modern campuses with plenty of green space.

I can't speak for Warwick, but what I'd say was that I genuinely loved my time as a student here at Bath. The uni has a lovely, small-village feel, the city is beautiful and full of oldy-worldy georgian architecture, is one of the safest in the country and has a fair bit to do considering its size (coffee houses, street food, supermarkets, green parks, axe throwing etc). Academically, Bath also has one of the best industrial placement schemes in the country with the huge majority of our courses offering versions with a placement if you wanted to do one. Because of this its very well-connected to industry and gives you a lot of opportunity to engage with a workplace, get your foot in the door for employment and earn some money during your degree which I really loved to do.

Just be aware that Bath is a tad more expensive to live in the Warwick, and whilst the route from Warwick to Coventry is flat, the route from Bath uni to Bath city is down a large hill, meaning if you were a keen cycler it would be tricky to cycle up to uni if the weather is bad.

Overall I really love Bath and thought it was a great place to study and gave me lots of opportunities to get involved with things, and having the placement really helped my confidence and employability 🙂

At the end of the day you're the best judge of what's best for you - have you tried doing up a Bath VS Warwick pros and cons list to see if one emerges as a clear winner?

Hope this helps, best of luck this year!
