Safety of nottingham at NTU
Hi, i was wondering how safe NTU was being in the middle of nottingham, and how safe the city is as a whole for a student.

Hi,
Student safety is the highest priority for NTU, and we take pride in Nottingham receiving 14 consecutive Purple Flag awards for city night time safety, as well as diversity, value, and entertainment.
NTU also has a number of safety support services in place, such as our Safe Taxi Scheme so students can feel confident that our campuses are a secure and comfortable environment for everyone. Our Student's Union also offers further information and advice regarding student safety.
Generally, I've found Nottingham to be a relaxed and welcoming city. Since graduating from NTU in 2019 I've lived in the City Centre as well as some of the surrounding suburbs and felt comfortable and confident walking through the city and on public transport. The City Campus is fairly self-contained, and due to its close proximity to the city centre, it's only a short walk from campus accommodation to social venues.
