How to mark History and English past paper practice

Hi

My daughter is in year 11 and she has just started practicing past papers. For maths, the three sciences and french, I am using mark schemes and model answers to mark the papers, and then we go through any incorrect answers. However I am struggling with english literature, english language and history (Elizabethan, Medicine, USA and Germany) - she is predicted 9's for all three and I don't feel that I am in a position to be able to give her any constructive feedback. I am also not keen on burdening her teachers too much and so I have come here, in the hope of getting any ideas on how to mark her answers.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

hi I'm in year 11 and when I do practice papers I tend to look at examiner reports and the mark schemes published and mark based on the criteria they provide! it's usually quite helpful
If you really can't tackle it yourself, then some people use Mark My Papers (for a fee). But as the previous poster said, mark schemes and examiners reports are useful.

Most teachers will be delighted that students are doing additional work. Why not ask? I happily mark papers at any time including holidays/weekends.

Tilf website has a free tier. It can mark papers for you and give feedback aligned with the mark scheme. They also offer subscriptions for students and are used by teachers and schools themselves. I did notice the marking is not totally accurate but the feedback is very spot on and useful to improve
