Application Course Query
Hi there, I am struggling to find which option to pick on my Student Finance Application form. I am a UK National who has accepted the conditional offer on the Cyber Security and Forensics Course at University of Westminster. There are 3 options and I am not sure which to choose as what I believe the most relevant one there is does not let me continue through with the application.
Currently there are three options these include Cyber Security And Forensics (higher Fees)CYBER SECURITY AND FORENSICS (4 years)CYBER SECURITY and FORENSICS (3 years)As per my offer I was told that I am due to pay 9250 for my tuition fees therefore I have the 4 year selected as I plan to do a placement year the next question asks what year am I starting I am a first year which is finishing college this coming August as per the results day, my last exam is June this year. Therefore I put First Year, the next question says if I am returning to this course after a break I agreed with university or college I select no as I don't believe this applies to me as I am finishing college and going straight to uni as I have not deferred. Upon me clicking no it comes up with The year you have selected is not available to new students. Please confirm your course details with your university or college.It should be noted it does the same when I select the three year course however when I select the Higher fees option it lets me in and continue with the application. I understand I can then tell it that the tuition fees are £9250 however I am just a bit confused with if what I am selecting is correct or not as I don't want to get it wrong.

Hi Oliver, the course you are selecting may only be available to year 2 students and onwards. I would advise to check with the university to confirm the correct course you need to select for the initial application, they will be able to confirm this for you. Thanks, Stephen.
