Bristol accommodation guarantee
As I'm still waiting for my Edinburgh offer but most likely going to firm Bristol, if I apply for accommodation on the day it opens (8th April) but don't firm the uni on UCAS until later but still before the closing deadline (30th June), will I be guaranteed accommodation and will it consider me as having applied on the 8th, or, whenever I firm? Sort of complicated question but thanks xx I know they've changed the system this year and am really nervous about not getting a good room but my dad wants me to wait until I have all offers in, in case I suddenly change my mind bc Edinburgh was a top choice for a long time

You cannot apply for and be guaranteed accommodation at Bristol unless and until you have Firmed their offer:

But also it is not first come first served with the Bristol accommodation, as long as you apply for it between 8 April and 30 June. As far as I’m aware anyway (you might want to double check this by emailing their accommodation office). So if this is the case, you can wait until you have heard from Edinburgh.
