Genuinely for nursing as a career, it doesn't matter.
Your future employer won't care where your degree came from, so long as it came from an accredited provider and you have an active PIN. All UK pre-registration nursing degree curricula have to meet the standards set by the NMC for registration, so they are pretty much the same in terms of employability. So in that respect, they are standardised. It might matter if you want to go into research or academia, in which case the Russell Group uni's (Leeds & Liverpool) might be preferable. If nursing practice is your goal, choose the uni you like best, the student culture, the actual campus itself, the simulation facilities, what placements do they offer and how far are you likely to have to travel? What about student support, is that important to you? Do you want a university with a strong pastoral support framework or are you ok with a more traditional set up? Student satisfaction?
