Heyyy i'm in year 11 too after a few interviews and offers i think i can help a bit. The selection process is really based on the sixth form itself as most look for 6+ (maybe slightly less if it's your schools sixth form) in the subjects you want to take. For law they will mainly look at your english grades (and history if you take that for gcse) so make sure your grade is to a good standard. Biology is a very competitive subject for places so i'd say try and up it to a 7 for more security. Some schools require an average points score too so if you're doing foundation maths i'd really recommend you to try and get your grades in other subjects higher💕💕 lmk how everything goes

It all depends on your school. My school only required a pass in maths to do psychology and biology but other schools differ.
From someone who does psychology, things like averages and graphs in maths are things you need to be confident in as these occur often in the course.
Best of luck!!

Hey @dove1234,

As mentioned above, it really depends on the entry requirements for your local sixth forms/colleges. Some will accept a pass in Maths, whilst others might ask for a grade or two higher; furthermore, if a particular A-Level course is competitive/oversubscribed, they may select students based on their GCSE grades in relevant subjects. For Law, the focus will likely be more on your English grades - Psychology and Biology may have Maths-related entry requirements.

Best of luck with your GCSEs!
Eve (Kingston Rep).
