Gcse History Ocr B Essay Structures
I'm a gcse student doing history and for some reason despite a lot of revision my essays never do that good. They do good enough, but not enough to get into 7s,8s, or 9s category. I think it is because I don't know how to structure the essays very well (I know that you do, for example, intro, paragraph 1, paragraph 2 etc) but I mean the actual structure of each paragraph. I thought you just use peel (which I still need some clarification on because for some reason my skill for peels from psychology doesn't transfer to history), but when we were showed the mark scheme for an 18 marker, the example one just didn't use peel at all. It was kind of concisely stating facts in small paragraphs on events (this was for the making of America topic)
I'd love some help on how you structure them because they are the bane of my existence now.
