Need advice from muslims celebrating ramadan

id like some advice as a non-muslim from people in the Muslim community

my boyfriend is Muslim and celebrating Ramadan, I only recently learnt of Eid and the cultural practices in general around this time, I am wondering if it is appropriate for me as a non-muslim to get him a gift for Eid, or if it really isnt something i should partake in (besides supporting him in this time and being respectful of boundaries).
and if i can get him something, what!

Thank you for any advice !

Hi it really depends on you to be honest. The purpose behind Eid is not only Joy but gathering and peace and togetherness so there’s no wrongdoing in participation for example food that’s prepared for you both to eat, how you both may decide to celebrate it whether that’s just culturally in attendance go and attend an event open publicly gift wise it’s entirely up to you if your that inspired look around gifts that are based around the Eid theme gives an indication of effort, knowledge and the affection for your boyfriend.
