Are my subjects good for diagnostic radiography

Hi I’m really wanting to do Diagnostic Radiography at uni and wanted to know if my subject choices are suited for it I do biology, psychology and sociology I was unsure as most unis don’t specify if they want 1 or 2 science based subjects

I’d say your subjects are 100% perfect especially biology as long as you’ve got one a-level science/btec applied, you should be fine! but you will be fine because biology is definitely the best subject to take for a strong foundation prior to starting diagnostic radiography

Hi thanks I was just completely unsure as uni entry requirements are so weird and differ from uni to uni and I saw someone else on a post saying they did the same subjects as me and got rejected from 4 unis

The majority of unis require one science for DR, usually from biology, chem or physics. Some unis also accept psychology and maths for the science requirement.

Unis consider more than just A level subjects and grades. For any healthcare course you need to have appropriate shadowing and work/volunteering experience to show that you understand the job and can deal with the general public. You will also be interviewed.
