physics vs english at uni

hi, i'm in y11 and i'm thinking about uni stuff (i'm aware i have a year before i actually have to pick) and i'm really stuck on wether to do physics or english. i've picked maths, fm, physics, and english for a levels. i really love english and i always have and i definitely find it easier than physics but i don't know if that's good enough reason to choose it over physics. i think physics is really interesting but i don't know if it's the idea of physics that interests me or the actual studying/doing research that interests me. also i think i'd be less likely to succeed (for reference, i just did the intermediate physics olympiad for y11 and got 19/50 😭). i don't want to pick a degree based on job opportunities and things, just the actual subject. I've looked at courses for both but all of them seem really cool and i don't want to pick one and then regret not doing the other. i would be grateful for any advice thank youu 🙏

Hey, also in y11, but I was checking online and some unis let you do a joint honours degree.
This is just one example, but uni of Glasgow lets you pick English and physics together as a joint honours degree.

Sounds like English is your best bet, if you don't enjoy physics now, how much will you enjoy it when the concepts become hard to understand even for professors?
What you take in uni is so much more about what you enjoy as much of the study is individual, the only person to motivate you is you, so you need to want to do it.
Best of luck!
