Revising for Year 12 April Mocks

I’m in year 12 and there are currently around 6 weeks till our mock exams which are at the end of April. Recently I started doing more regular revision and have created a study schedule trying to do at least 9 hours of revision per subject per week, not including weekends. However, before this I had only been making resources throughout the year and not actually revising with a routine. My question is, do you think I’ve left myself enough time to get top grades, and is the study routine good enough to help me reach them?

What subjects do you do? And what motivates you? Definitely have enough time left, but don't burn yourself out

Okay, not bad, I take similar a-levels Bio Psychology but dropped Eng Lit. What type of grades have u been getting? Honestly my main motivation is improvement. Admittedly I was on an E in bio at the beginning of the year, now I'm getting B's, and my main motivation was not accepting another failure lol. Best thing to do is make a check list of what needs doing lol, instead of giving urself an allocated time, so it's easier to grasp what needs doing, and u focus more on content than time xx

Okay thank you this is really good advice. I also got an E grade for biology at the beginning of the year but since then we’ve only been tested again very recently and the result comes back on Friday, which I’m really stressed about 😭. We do singular exam questions for English and Sociology, but the last sociology result was a D because I was admittedly procrastinating and didn’t do enough revision.

Would you like me to send you a link for a spreadsheet I made for keeping track of my content rather than time? Its focused purely on a realistic amount of content daily and doesn't lock down on time, I made it myself and it is just a simple sheet, but goes all the way up to April 4th and, you can adjust as you see fit if you'd like. If it helps I think you have plenty of time left, you just need to KEEP the motivation and revise effectively. For e.g. I use the CGP flashcards for biology and do 5 flashcards (of varying questions 6-8 per card) a night and circle the questions I didn't do well in, to do on the weekends instead. My timetable is only mon-fri so I can allocate Saturday Sunday for work, but also catch-up if I was busy and cracking down on questions I did worse off on
