NHS LSF eligibility- Scottish student studying in England

I'm planning to start an MSc (Pre-Reg) Physiotherapy at an English university in September 2025. I completed my undergraduate degree in Scotland and will be applying for my postgraduate loans through SAAS.

My question is about the NHS Learning Support Fund (LSF). The LSF eligibility criteria state that you need to be eligible for tuition fee and maintenance loans from the Student Loans Company (SLC), through your relevant funding body (SAAS in my case). However, in Scotland, postgraduate healthcare courses are funded differently than undergraduate courses, as opposed to England where Postgraduate Healthcare courses typically attract undergraduate funding. I would be eligible for Postgraduate Tuition Fee Support and Living Cost Loan through SAAS.

Has anyone faced a similar situation or can shed some light on whether this difference affects NHS LSF eligibility? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer and NHS LSF can not assess individual cases until you apply.
