Who ever sat the interview how did it go? Were the questions similar or different to the assessment?

My interviewer cancelled just over 48 hours before my interview was scheduled for (despite me booking a slot very early on in the process. I have emailed GES for a second time as I did not get a response on my first email. Has anyone been able to rebook a slot? I remember some people saying they had extended the deadline but I am unable to access the link to rebook the interview slot. This seems really unprofessional and unfair.

they send another email after cancelling to allow u to rebook - something along the lines of 'redo responses as something went wrong' and the link takes u to the booking page

I just had my interview if anyone has questions while it’s fresh in my memory.

How did you find it?

Was very nervous so my mind went blank a few times which didn’t help🤣 but they weren’t trying to trick you or anything the questions were very straightforward

That’s good, what strong topic did you choose? I read somewhere that we chose the strong topic when applying, but also saw that we get to choose at the start of the interview so was a bit unsure on that lol

could barely answer them🤣 but they said it doesn’t take away points it’s just to add some more so there’s that

Are you talking about the Behaviour and strengths Qs ?? And do you know how they actually score marks ?

Reply 390

Wait yeah my bad that’s for the SAQ’s the comp ones were fine basic economic concepts

Reply 392

Does anyone know what the marking is like ? E.g if you do not so well on one section can you make up for it if you do well on another ?

Hii
1)can you run me through what kind of questions did they ask for the presentation, strongest topic, and behaviours, my topic is international trade, did they ask you definition questions, theory questions or scenario questions?
2)did they ask strength based questions too? 3)How many questions did they ask for presentation, strongest topic, and behaviours,?

heyyy! hope it went well!!

for the SAQ’s what were they like? i’m a bit confused on what SAQ’s they ask because are they based on the SAQ questions we did for the first part of the EAC? or are they new SAQ’s?

Reply 395

They asked things based on what you say as well as more generic things to do with the economic theory behind it I can’t remember what they asked exactly but it’s all similar stuff to that if you brush up on even a level economic theory it would be fine. Not sure how many questions for each part but yes they ask generic interview questions that align with their behaviour competencies so tell me about a time etc

Thank you! It is the same SAQ from before so try to remember what the questions were and think about stuff you could’ve said there but didn’t so you’re prepared when they ask you on it, it’s a chance to pick up on extra marks

I’ve literally just had my interview cancelled which was meant to be tomorrow and now there are no slots available! How did they even allow for this to happen to so many people! This is actually frustrating

Just incompetence tbh. No other explanation.
